hard work really does pay off...

recently i have been swamped, overwhelmed, and busy beyond belief…don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to complain. just simply stating a fact is all. Last week I worked almost 50 hours – which is a busy week by itself. On top of that add school. homework. midterms. friends. a social life. family. time to sit at read a book…wait…that doesn’t all fit – or so I’ve come to realize. its been crazy. i’m making myself sick. but its all paying off.


midterm last week…can you say 95%?! best grade in the entire class! two other test…A’s! so i guess every once in a while the hard work really does pay off. i’ve worked hard…but i’ve played harder!!!

as for my social life. its doing surprisingly well. i guess partly to the lack of sleep i’ve been getting (and probably why i’m getting sick) but…i’ve made some great new friends whom i love and adore! they are all absolutely amazing. even if we are just sitting watching tv, playing outside, or just having a friendly conversation…its always fun! they always make me smile. and life is good…no wait, its fantastic!

last, can i just say how much i love christmas and the month prior?! thanksgiving, food, family, SHOPPING, wrapping presents, baking yummy desserts, wearing scarf’s, decorating, christmas music, heck..christmas anything! i cannot wait!
