Carbon River!!

Saturday was an amazing day! ryan, sierra, carson, kevin, & i went up to the carbon river for a little hike & to have some fun outside! although it was cold out we all had a blast. i may have been a little too adventurous in thinking i could cross the river by walking across tops of rocks...and soaking my foot in glacier water, but it was defiantly a day to remember!!

we decided to head out around 11...which of course we didn't leave on time :) lol. we got up to the mountain around noon. all of us with backpacks full of lunches & coats. or in kevins case...supplies for the 5 of us for a couple days - just in case we got stuck up there ha ha. we headed on our adventure!! we saw big trees, lots of moss, and sierra referred to the forest (which was very mossy) like the movie Camelot! ha ha. it was so fun!! I'm excited to many other adventures that are soon to follow!!! here are some pictures of our fun, amazing day :)

well, its been a while!!

i can't even remember the last time i had a chance to write!! life has been crazy, work has been BUSY, and all in all everything has been wonderful! i've recently realized that i am in serious need of a hobby...something i love to do & something i can do in my free time...in my search of my long lost hobby, i've come to the realization that everything cost money. no matter how small and simple. its crazy!!!! and now the question is...have i found a hobby? the answer...no :( ha ha. i really want to buy a sewing machine and begin sewing again, but aside from having to buy a sewing machine (which isn't cheap) fabric and patters as sooo darn expensive. then i think to myself...what am i ever going to sew that i want and or need. and do i really want to make uselsess crap to give to my friends and family?! probably not, but i think i'm gonna buy a sewing machine regardless :)

last friday, ryan and i went to Nate & Jill's for a Bunco/jill's 21st birthday party...SOOO much fun! i officially love bunco, but can think of only one reason that may be...because i got the most bunco's & triples!!! YES!! i was the big winner! had i not won...i probably wouldn't like it. but for now...i like bunco. there may be a bunco party at my house in the near future!!! 

there have been so many things that have happen in my life since i last wrote i could go on forever, but this is going to have to do. i am just going to have to get better at blogging.
